It’s that time of year again, folks. The time in which we have to either joyously or dreadfully spend time with our loved ones over the Christmas holiday season, or, if you’re like the most of us this time around, spend it alone with your thumb up your ass because, two years after it began, COVID-19 is still ravaging the planet. Well, rest assured that you’re not alone in the suffering, because plenty of us are out here limiting our contacts to try and keep those we care about safe. In the spirit of the holiday, I have compiled the third edition of our Merry Fucking Solstice series, in which we recount some of the Christmas and holiday themed metal and punk songs that have emerged from our heavy music community thus far. Hopefully these dandy tracks help get you through what is, for some people at least, a pretty miserable time of year.
