Jungle Cake Gang is a symphonic death metal project from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia featuring Jordan Stevens on guitars and Tony Kaos on bass and drums with Wild Step frontman and guitarist Ben Rogers on vocals. The project has existed since at least January of 2022 when three instrumental songs were uploaded to the band’s YouTube channel. This new single, entitled “Cataclysmic Rites”, is the first song from the project to feature vocals, and you’ll find that Rogers’ voice on here is significantly different than what you might be used to from his stoner rock material.
