Glovertown black n’ roll project Mistwalker has revealed that they are working on a brand new record. The new album, which is as of yet untitled, will be the tenth full length album in the project’s discography. The band first revealed the new record on Sunday, June 9th, 2024 with a post stating that drums for the new album were fully recorded the same day at Show Media Studios in Montreal, QC with JL.LV Audio.

Glovertown blackened heavy metal project Mistwalker has released a new single. Entitled “Graceless Ebb”, the track was released on Friday, May 17th, 2024 and features Aaron Powell of Fog Lake on guest vocals. The track was mixed and mastered by Julien Levesque at JL.LV Audio.
Along with the track’s release the Bandcamp page for the track features numerous links to donate to relief funds and organizations for Palestinians. We’d encourage you to donate to one or more of these organizations if you’re able to.

Glovertown blackened heavy metal project Mistwalker released their ninth full length record, Oceanic Heritage, last year. Up until this point this album as well as most of the project’s back catalog has been relegated to digital media, but that’s set to change. Oceanic Heritage is now available for pre-order on CD via independent British Columbia-based label Syrup Moose Records. Murmurs of the album also being available on cassette in the near future have also been propagated.

Montreal powerviolence / grindcore band Ratpiss has released their third EP, Four Humors. The new EP dropped on Friday, March 1st, 2024, and features four tracks with explicit titles. Four Humors features cover art designed by the band’s bassist and vocalist Erin Faeth, and was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Julien Levesque at JL.LV Audio.

Securitron, a new Fallout-themed thrash metal project from multi-instrumentalist Greg Ravengrave, released its first full length record on March 1st, 2024. The album, entitled Post-Apocalyptic Eras, features 10 tracks of thrash metal that takes some sporadic influence from black metal, death metal, and prog throughout its runtime. The album was mixed and mastered by José-Gabriel Bazan Gauthier of the death metal band Insade, and was recorded by Ravengrave as part of the 2024 RPM Challenge.

Montreal powerviolence / crust punk band Ratpiss have announced their third EP, Four Humors. The EP was announced on Wednesday, February 21st, 2024, along with a reveal of the EP’s artwork designed by the band’s bassist and vocalist Erin Faeth. Four Humors is due out on March 1st, 2024.

Securitron is a new solo project from Ratpiss and Mistwalker member Greg Ravengrave. Described as a thrash metal project centering around the lore of the Fallout universe, with elements of black and death metal, the project announced its first album, Post-Apocalyptic Eras, on Thursday, February 22nd, 2024. The album will release on March 1st, 2024 and is part of the 2024 RPM Challenge.
