The Order of the Precious Blood Releases New Single “Black Hole”

St. John’s blackened experimental hardcore outfit The Order of the Precious Blood are gearing up for the release of their next musical outing. We’ve already heard one single from this upcoming release, entitled “Cheaper But Will Do”. Following that first single the band has dropped a second, entitled “Black Hole”, which was released on April 22nd, 2024 along with a music video that premiered on Hardcore Worldwide.

Lawnya Vawnya 14 Announces Lineup

Lawnya Vawnya, the annual arts and music festival that occurs in St. John’s, Newfoundland, has unveiled its lineup for the 2024 installment, its 14th iteration. These year’s fest will take place across four days spanning from June 5th to June 8th. Among the heavier and loud artists performing this year are Bread Clip, Carnage, Cuerpos, Doberman, Needle Crafts, and Tunnel Vision.

The Order of the Precious Blood Reveal New T-Shirts

St. John’s blackened experimental hardcore outfit The Order of the Precious Blood have revealed new t-shirts that they’re selling at their upcoming shows and upcoming Maritime tour. The shirts were first revealed through social media on Friday, April 19th, 2024 and feature art designed by Kris Thornhill.

MiR Releases Self-Titled EP

St. John’s hardcore band MiR have released their debut recording. The new release is a self-titled EP that dropped on April 20th, 2024 and features seven tracks of ripping, metallic hardcore. The EP can be found on streaming services as well as Bandcamp.

Of the Black Releases New EP ‘A Structured Narrative’

St. John’s hardcore band Of the Black have released their first piece of new music since 2020. Their new EP, entitled A Structured Narrative, is the first since 2020’s series of five EPs numbered One through Five which dropped over the course of that year. This new EP features 6 tracks, was recorded at Paradise Sound Studio and was mixed by Bryan O’Reilly. It was released on April 16th, 2024.

Killer 9000 Reveal New T-Shirts

St. John’s avant-garde / jazzcore band Killer 9000 have revealed new t-shirts that feature the band’s logo in white against a black backdrop. The shirts will be available at the band’s show tonight at the Peter Easton Pub alongside The Order of the Precious Blood, Of the Black, and Kaspam Cult.

The Order of the Precious Blood Reveal Posters and Lineup Announcements for Remaining Tour Dates

St. John’s blackened / experimental hardcore outfit The Order of the Precious Blood has revealed the posters and full lineup announcements for the remaining three gigs of their upcoming Maritime tour at the end of April.

On April 26th the band will be in Miramichi, New Brunswick performing at The Shred Shed alongside Moncton death metal / grindcore outfit Ibex and Miramichi local hardcore punks Ten Dollar Meat Bags.

On April 27th the band will be in Moncton, New Brunswick at Xeroz Arcade Bar and will be joined once again by Ibex as well as stoner punks Yhorm from Sussex, New Brunswick.

On April 28th the band will be in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia at The Bitten Moon Pub alongside Breakneck, Great Value, and Nova Scotia powerviolence / hardcore outfit Fear and Filth.
